Ambigram (Drain 1–3) interweaves different levels of exhibition processes. The storage, transformation, and transportation of works, as well as the model-like development of exhibition concepts, become fundamental actors within the works. Plastic euro containers, originally designed as standardized storage systems, serve both as pedestals and miniature exhibition space. Thus, the works oscillate between sculpture in space, a state of storage, and a space within a space — or a model for a potential future exhibition. The works not only reflect parts of their own infrastructures and processes but also draw on the structures of the exhibition space: three different videos of drains within the building are shown inside of them — objects that are otherwise rarely subjects of attention.
